I have seen wonderful things in Your Law Father God.

Today’s Scripture: Psalm 119:18, NIV- “Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law.”

What a great way to approach the Word of God. Let us pray to God, the author and finisher of our faiths, to open our eyes so we may behold the wonderful things in His law. We cannot begin to grasp how wonderful our God is. However, it has been my experience that by opening God’s Word we are allowed to behold His wonderful things.

Psalm 119 in the longest chapter in the Bible and full of many great promises all by itself. However, it is only 176 verses of over 31,000 that we can return to daily to be filled with  the wonder of God’s laws.

At the crossroads of God’s Law, the Holy Spirit, and our lives we find the wonders of God. He opens our eyes, hearts, minds, souls, and spirits to His desires. One day at a time, one verse at a time, we come to know the wonders of our God.

Are your eyes open?

Today’s Prayer: Our Father, open our eyes to the wonderful things in Your Law. Create in us the persons and people You desire us to be. Thank You for Your laws that guide, protect, and equip us to live our lives for you. Amen.
