Today’s Scripture: Philippians 3:8-9; Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith—
Sometimes we seem not to be able to find what we are looking for. However if we search the Word of God we find more than we can ever dream to seek.
I have never found the scripture I was looking for today’s blog but I found even more. I searched my affirmations by the word “find” and found more than I need even though I didn’t find what I was looking for, at least I thought. Some examples of affirmations I have “found” in the Word:
I find joy in God.
In Jesus I find hope.
I find victory in Christ.
I find life in Jesus.
I find my value in God.
I find purpose and direction in prayer.
I find my soul in Jesus.
I find encouragement in Christ.
I find understanding in the Spirit.
I have found enough for my soul this morning. What do you find when you seek Christ?
Today’s Prayer: Father God, thank You for Your Word. The Word is with us and in us. Thank You for the joy, hope and life we find in You. LORD, I will look no other place to find myself and to find You. You are all I need, and I pray to live from and for You today. Amen
