Today’s Scripture: 2 Timothy 1:6 NLT Tyndale: This is why I remind you to fan into flames the spiritual gift God gave you when I laid my hands on you.
What actions will we take today to fan the flames of our gifts? We each have been given precious truths and gifts we need to fan into flames. We each have something that the world needs. Let’s bring it.
I am sure Paul’s next line to Timothy in verse 7 is one we need to remind ourselves of today. “For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self discipline. With the strength of God we are ready to share our gifts. As we boldly use out gifts, this fans the flames. Have you experienced how the flames will grow as you fan them?
God saved us and called us to live this life. He has a plan to show us the grace of Jesus Christ. What has God chosen for you and what spiritual gifts has He given you?
Will you fan your spiritual gifts into flames?
Today’s Prayer: Father God, thank You for the new life You have given me. I know Your strength and Holy Spirit will help me fan the flames of the gift you have given me to share. Fill me with boldness and confidence to act and give away your gift. To You be all the glory and may others experience the joy and love You have given me. Amen

Hi Tom; I fan the flames every time I sit down and say, “okay Lord. This is your book. I need you to give me your words .” I’m working on a 6th novel. It’s all Him and for His glory and I have no idea where He’s taking me in this story.
