Today’s Scripture: Proverbs 8:30 Holman: I was a skilled craftsman beside Him. I was His delight every day, always rejoicing before Him.
The LORD, we are told, set wisdom up before this earth was formed. He delighted in her daily; shouldn’t we?
We have insight and strength as long as we grasp that WE don’t have it but that it is found in her. The wisdom of God is available to us. It is our mission to love her and seek her out. In Proverbs 8:17 we are promised that if we love wisdom and seek her diligently we will find her. When we find her we find life.
If we delight daily in wisdom as God does we are filled with delight day after day. Why do we spend more time and energy seeking the answers over seeking the source of answers?
LORD, help us seek Your wisdom. Fill us with the love and delight for Wisdom the way You designed for us.
Do you delight in Wisdom?
Today’s Prayer: Heavenly Father, I am seeking You and Your wisdom. I delight in Your wisdom. In You I find life. LORD teach me to seek for wisdom diligently today and every day. I love Your wisdom and desire to live with her daily. Share with me the delight You have in wisdom day after day. I rejoice with You. Amen

I just posted on my FaceBook page, “Wise men still seek him.”A lady responded and ask me, “Do you consider yourself wise? I responded, “Yes, I do. Not because I am wise in and of myself, but because I choose to look to my God who is the object of my Faith.” 1 Kings 3: 9-14 Paraphrase: Because Solomon sought the wisdom of God – God was pleased Give me an understanding mind so that I can govern your people well and know the difference between what is right and what is wrong…The Lord was pleased with his reply. He said, “Because you have asked for wisdom in governing my people and haven’t asked for a long life, or riches for yourself, or the defeat of your enemies— yes, I’ll give you what you asked for! I will give you a wiser mind than anyone else has ever had or ever will have! And I will also give you what you didn’t ask for—riches and honor… I will give you a long life if you follow me and obey my laws as your father David did. Then ”Matthew 7: 24-25 tells us that “Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock.
I have learned to seek the Lord for all my needs, He is my rock and my salvation. Yes, Tom, I agree from all my experiences, “In him I find the answers I need.”
