Today’s Scripture: Psalm 25:7 ESV: Remember not the sins of my youth or my transgressions; according to your steadfast love remember me, for the sake of your goodness, O LORD!
Are you thankful that it is God’s goodness and not our own that saves us? In spite of our transgressions and our fragile goodness, God is always good.
Like David here in Psalm 25, we can pray thanksgivings to God and ask Him to forget our weaknesses and rebelliousness. In verse eight we are told that God instructs sinners in the way. I am certainly a sinner and grateful for God’s instruction.
Humble me LORD to keep my eyes on Your goodness and to live there. Please guard my soul and deliver me to live in the integrity and honesty You desire.
Do you find comfort in God’s goodness?
Today’s Prayer: Thank You LORD for Your goodness! Please forgive me for my sins with Your mercy and love. Continue to instruct me and keep my eyes on You so that I may live as You desire. Humble me LORD to live in Your love and Your righteousness. Amen
