Today’s Scripture: Psalm 150:6, NIV- “Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD.”
Reading the Word of God backwards is bringing a different perspective. The last Psalm is Psalm 150:6. If you had one last thing to say to this world what would it be? David, or whoever provided this last line, left us with the bottom line.
As long as we have breath let us praise the LORD. How everyone and everything praises the LORD should not be our concern. We should be too busy praising the LORD than to judge how others praise their LORD.
Just as the Pharisees and Sadducees judged Jesus and His relationship with the Father, there will always be killjoys who attempt to suck the joy out of our praises. We cannot be concerned with the vipers of life who attempt to determine how and when we praise the LORD.
Praise the LORD. (Yes, that is a period.)
Today’s Prayer: I am praising You now LORD. You are the LORD of lords, the KING of kings, the GOD of gods. In everything I am praising You. I am praising You for allowing me to take another breath. I am praising You for allowing me to witness another sunrise. I am praising You for love. I am praising You here in this sanctuary and in Your mighty heavens. We are singing our praises to You now. Amen.
