Today’s Scripture: Psalm 98:7, ESV-“Let the sea roar, and all that fills it; the world and those who dwell in it!”
Sometimes I question my ability to make a joyful noise to the LORD. Why is it I compare my sounds to the beautiful voices of others?
As I read Psalm 98:7 I can imagine the roar of the sea. I definitely see the ocean as evidence of our God. This same verses call for all of us to roar and make joyful noises to our LORD as well.
Are our lives roaring for the LORD? We can start a new song of joyful noises today that grow into a full blown roar. Can others hear our new song?
Just like the sea and everything in it, God made us to roar as evidence of Him. We do not have to be the sea or anything else; we just have to be who we are and who we were created to be.
What is your sound? Let it roar.
Today’s Prayer: LORD, I praise Your name and I pray that my life makes a joyful noise to You. LORD grant me the boldness and love to roar loudly as my evidence of You. LORD forgive me for my sins that silence the noise and the joy. Thank You for Your grace that grants me a new song. Thank You LORD for the sound You have given me and I pray for Your power to let it roar. Amen
