2 Chronicles 8:4, CSB- “But Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, “First, please ask what the LORD’s will is.””
Great direction from this scripture today. We can affirm: I am asking You now LORD for what Your will is for me today.
In the next verse, the king of Israel gathered up 400 prophets. We can appeal directly to the LORD and still surround ourselves with His prophets and His followers to help make sure we are hearing God clearly.
We can confirm and affirm to God. I am doing Your will for Your kingdom LORD and You are giving me victory. May we pray for each other that we pray first, listen, and confirm God’s direction for each of us.
Father God, LORD God, I am asking You and seeking to know Your will for me today. Please answer me LORD and provide Your prophets and people to confirm Your will. I know when I am acting on Your will, You give me victory. Guide me and direct me LORD as You desire and grant me the courage and will to act today in line with Your will and Your power. Amen
