Here I am LORD

Today’s Scripture: Exodus 3:4 ESV: When the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called to him out of the bush, “Moses, Moses!” And he said, “Here I am.”

 

God gets our attention. God shows that He is with us. Like Moses, we have to decide to turn to look at His wonders. When God has our attention, He speaks.

 

What catches our attention requires our attention.  Moses turned to see and answered the call. God then proceeded to give Him direction.

 

I am looking to God’s wonders and I pray I respond to Him with “here I am”.

Stopping and turning to be with God I see His wonders and hear His voice.

 

God hears our cries and assures us that He gives us what we need to complete the tasks He speaks to us. He can use us too to help deliver His people. We are not alone; He is with us, are we with Him?

 

Will you say, here I am LORD?

 

Today’s Prayer: LORD God, thank You for getting my attention. Thank You for hearing my cries and for rescuing me. You have my attention LORD and I will go with You into the land You have given me. I know You are with me and I do not go empty handed but equipped with Your wonders. Here I am LORD. Amen
