Today’s Scripture: As they listen, their secret thoughts will be exposed, and they will fall to their knees and worship God, declaring, “God is really here among you.” 1 Corinthians 14:25 NLT Tyndale 1996
If unbelievers come and see us will they have this same experience? As they come to our meetings will they be convicted such as these in 1 Corinthians 14? Are our meetings and our lives obvious that the Spirit of God is at work?
God is really here now with us. Not only are unbelievers affected but we believers need reminders and encouragement as well. He is here and He will give us what we need to show Him.
God are you really here in my dark places, in the pain of lost ones and in my evilness as well? This morning in His prayer I was reminded that it is He that delivers us, we need Him and He will show Himself and we and others will know He is really here.
LORD, let us fall to our knees and worship You. May our secret thoughts be exposed and we realize you are really here!
Today’s Prayer: Father God, thank You for offering to deliver me. I am asking You to deliver me from my evil and to fill me with Your Spirit. Fill me LORD; change me and use me to show that You are really here. Amen
