God, I am Yours and You are mine.

Today’s Scripture: Hebrews 8:10, NKJV- “For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.”

We have a new covenant written in our minds and on our hearts. This is a very personal covenant and not one written on tablets of stone up on a distant mountain. God is now writing His laws in our minds and on the tablets of our hearts.

Thank You Father God for loving us enough make our hearts living tabernacles. Jesus is our High Priest that meets all our needs, Your Holy Spirit binds our hearts with Yours. Father God, I am Yours and You are mine.

Jesus, thank You for being our High Priest forever and for saving us completely as promised in Hebrews 7:25. Jesus, You alone are the guarantor of this better covenant as stated in Hebrews 7:22. Thank You Lord for allowing us to experience this “better hope” as guaranteed in Hebrews 7:19.

The Holy Spirit within us cries out and praises our God. This is not for anyone else to see or know this is personal. We are allowed to experience God’s better hope.

Hebrews 8:11 promises that all of us, everyone, will know God from the least to the greatest. This is not about what we know but who we know in Christ. We are His and He has torn the veil once and for all so our God is inside of us, and we are inside of Him.

We are now a greater and more perfect tabernacle as promised in Hebrews 9:11 This new covenant was opened to us through the blood of Jesus Christ. As Hebrews 9:14 reminds us that Jesus was sacrificed so that we may serve the living God!

We can also say as it was said in Hebrews 11:9, Here I am God, I have come to do your will. I am praying as you are alone with God that this relationship with Him gets real. It is no work of ours but the work of our High Priest Jesus Christ who has opened this new covenant, this better hope forever for you and me.

We can experience God in a real and personal way. Is He your God and are you His? Tell Him.

Today’s Prayer:  Holy Father, thank You for Jesus our High Priest and for His sacrifice for all of us. Thank You for putting Your laws in our minds and hearts. Please keep us in this new covenant with You as we live Your better hope. Thank You for welcoming our spirits into Your Holy of Holies. Thank You for allowing our spirits to know Your Spirit as we are Yours and You are ours. Amen.
