Today’s Scripture: Hebrews 3:7 NLT Tyndale: That is why the Holy Spirit says, “Today you must listen to his voice.”
Today, God will speak, will you hear His voice? The Holy Spirit tells us we MUST listen.
The Holy Spirit carries the voice of God. Will we be still long enough to listen? God built us to hear Him. I was once frustrated that I could not hear God. Now I hear Him speak to me daily as I go to His Word. He does speak.
Three times here in Hebrews 3 and 4 the Word of God says “Today you must listen to his voice.” When we are turned to God we are turned away from our own unbelieving and evil hearts and we hear Him. His voice is there and we must be faithful to do what He tells us.
If you have heard Him, can you share here how you have turned to God and heard Him so others may too? Today will you listen?
Today’s Prayer: Father God, thank You for speaking to us. Help us to listen and help us to hear. You are in all things and You speak in all things. Help each of us to warn and encourage each other to listen and keep our hearts open to You. Today, I give You my heart and I listen. I trust You will allow me to hear. Amen

Affirmations of God

I think in these last days we HAVE to listen to the Lord or we’re going to sink into an abyss of humanity that will drag us down. It is such a comfort when the Lord tells me, “Oh My child, I love you and will not forsake you.” He also has a great sense of humor. You don’t want to miss that. 🙂
Oh, He certainly does have a sense of humor. I was just telling someone that last week. EVEN in the abyss He speaks if we listen and His timing is impeccable and even humorous at times. I am so thankful for His love and grace!! Blessings Sue as you listen and continue to share what you hear. I, for one, am thankful for your faithfulness!
We’re in this thing, called a journey with the Lord, together and we draw from the faithfulness of others. I appreciate your words and scripture as you encourage us through your blog. Thank you so much for encouraging me.
Thank you Sue. You are so right! In Hebrews this morning I was reminded of our need to pray for each other and to encourage each other to keep our eyes on Jesus and keep the joy and glory of the Lord always in our hearts and minds. I am praying prayers of thanksgiving for you now and praying God’s blessings upon you and your ministry. Thank you for encouraging me. We will endure and finish the race the Lord has prepared for us. Blessings as you listen to God’s voice.
Thank you Tom. Have a blessed day.
