Today’s Scripture: Psalm 115:11 ESV: You who fear the LORD, trust in the LORD!
He is their help and their shield.
Do you believe God has helped you and protected you without your awareness?
We have all received both unexplained and often unrecognized help and protection. Do you credit happenstance, coincidence or luck or do you fear and trust in the LORD? Psalm 115 reminds us of the shallowness of our understanding.
We often place our hope in hopeless idols. Yet, how often do we pause to thank God for helping and shielding us from those things we are unaware.
The LORD blesses us more than we can imagine. We have been blessed by the LORD who made heaven and earth. The LORD has given us this earth and He will help us increase in it. We should praise the LORD for His blessings both seen and unseen both now and forever.
How much praise do you give the LORD for the help and protection you are unaware
of?
Today’s Prayer: Heavenly Father, I fear You and trust You. I praise You for the many blessings You have given me. Forgive me for when I trust in anything above You. Thank You LORD for helping me and shielding me in every way. Forgive me LORD when I do not acknowledge You. I praise You both now and forever. Amen
