Today’s Scripture: Psalm 33:20 NKJ: Our soul waits for the LORD; He is our help and our shield.
In Psalm 130, David was crying out to God from his depths. Here in Psalm 33 David was rejoicing in the LORD and praising Him with his harp. In both His soul waited on the LORD.
From the highest of highs to the lowest of lows our souls must wait on the LORD. For the word of the LORD is always right and all of His work proves true.
We must wait on the LORD. What appears to be right and truthful in the ways of man does not always prove to be so. We are blessed by the hope in our LORD.
The earth is full of the goodness of the LORD. Let all of us stand in awe of Him. Only God can deliver our souls. Our souls can cry out from the depths and also rejoice in highest praise but we must always wait on Him.
Will your soul wait on the LORD?
Today’s Prayer: I am rejoicing in You O LORD. I stand in awe of You. My soul is waiting on You LORD. From my lowest depths to my heights of joy my soul waits. I have experienced Your goodness O LORD and it is great. I have experienced the nothingness of the plans of mankind. In You I fear O LORD and in You my soul waits. Amen
