Affirmation of God: I find life in pursuing righteousness and love.

Today’s Scripture: Proverbs 21:21, NLT- “ Whoever pursues righteousness and unfailing love will find life, righteousness, and honor.”

Unexpected results are found in God. Have you ever known anyone afraid to pursue God because of what they will have to give up? Have you been there? I have. Can those of us who have found life share what we have found?

I find comfort in Proverbs 21:21 that it is the PURSUIT of righteousness and love that gives us life, righteousness and honor. It is NOT that we have already arrived at some level of perfection. Wherever and whoever we are we will find life if only we will pursue after righteousness and love

God’s life is so much fuller and richer than the shallow promises of the world and we find this only when we diligently pursue what is right. When we pursue what is right in love we find a rewarding life beyond our imaginations.

Today’s Prayer: Father God, thank you for guiding our hearts. Please turn my heart towards Your righteousness and love and strengthen me to pursue them diligently. I believe in Your Word and thank You for the life You have shown me. Help me to share the life I have found in You that is amazingly beautiful. Amen
