Today’s Scripture: And when he saw Jesus from afar, he ran and fell down before him. Mark 5:6 ESV
Mark 5 has a common theme that shows us there are amazing things that can happen when we fall at Jesus’ feet. Legion, the demon possessed man ran to Jesus and fell at His feet. Jesus cleansed him of those spirits and then instructed him to go and tell how much Jesus had done for him. Can we do that?
From the possessed man to Jairus who was a leader in the synagogue where we are told in Mark 5:22 that he fell at Jesus’ feet asking Him to heal his daughter. On His way there the woman who had been bleeding for twelve year’s touched Jesus’ garment and was healed. Then in 5:33 we are told she fell down before Him and told Him the whole truth of what had happened to her.
After healing the girl we are told that everyone was “overcome with amazement”. I know I have been overcome with amazement at what I have found at Jesus’ feet, how about you? Can we go and tell how much Jesus has done for us? The whole truth?
Today’s Prayer: Lord Jesus, I fall at Your feet. You are my only hope. You alone have the power to heal and remove evil spirits. Lord, I thank You for what You have done in my life and the lives of my loved ones. I am overcome with amazement and I will tell others how much You have done for me. Help me to tell the whole truth that brings You glory and brings others to Your feet to find healing and hope. I only believe in You. Amen.

Amazement…yes Tom , I’m ever amazed when I focus on the Father. And it’s impossible to be at the feet of Jesus and not tell the “whole truth”.
I find the older I get, the more I bow before Him…both physically and with my stubborn will…
Good thoughts to think on throughout the day my friend…

How simple it is to bow down at the feet of the Lord and humble their selves but so many are too proud to accept His loving grace. For the ones that do and pay homage to Him through faith are the ones that will witness His everlasting promise of the Heavenly Kingdom.
Tom Raines says
Thanks for stopping in Larry. Yes, Jesus loves us and His kingdom is ours.
