Today’s Scripture: Ephesians 3:14 ESV: For this reason I bow my knees before the Father,
For every reason, bowing our knees to the Father is the beginning. I am not speaking figuratively, hypothetically, rhetorically, or any otherally but am speaking of kneeling before the King of kings. I recall sharing the AMAZING difference that kneeling before God had made in my life to a person who asked. “do you think you really have to kneel?”
Is it too much to ask?? Now I understand some can not physically do this but we can bow our hearts and I have found that this is where God reveals Himself.
As we kneel we find the promises in Ephesians 3: the endless treasures of Jesus, the power and strength of the Spirit and come to know the love of God. As we kneel our roots go into God, Christ dwells in our hearts and we are filled with the fullness of God. Do you really have to? Nope.
Today’s Prayer: Mighty God, thank You for Jesus and Your Spirit which allows us to come boldly and confidently to You. As I kneel before You Father I praise You and glorify You. In You Father I place my trust. Your endless treasures amaze me and I come to know You and Your love. Nourish me Father God and fill me with Your love. Amen.

Affirmations of God

I’m so glad you said we do not have to literally kneel before God to pray. I know of other religions that do and it is a ritual not submission. I have even been told, “You HAVE to kneel or God doesn’t hear you.” Hog wash! That isn’t a relationship, its a ritual.
Amen Sue! I bowed heart is what is critical! I think in my enthusiasm for what I have found on my knees I am tempted to stress it’s importance! But you make a GREAT point, it is never about what we do but what about what He does! Rituals are, well rituals…and can certainly be Hog Wash…God knows our hearts and wants them…how we approach Him is low and lifted up! Blessings my sister!
