Today’s Scripture: Proverbs 2:3 AKJV: Yes, if you cry after knowledge, and lift up your voice for understanding;
What good is knowledge without understanding? God’s word is woven into a perfect design. These are not words on paper folks but an inspired message to speak to our souls. Knowing, understanding and doing are separate issues.
God’s understanding is not right or wrong, it is perfect. God is Spirit and truth and when we lift up our voices to Him for understanding we will receive the understanding we seek in our spirits and in the Word of truth.
Our minds can become quickly clouded when we do not know or understand what to do. We can stop immediately and ask God in our cloudiness and He will provide understanding if we look for answers in our spirits and in His truths.
It is amazing how God reveals Himself. Will you ask God for understanding when you are faced with your next big decision? Will you seek His answers in Spirit and in truth?
Today’s Prayer: Heavenly Father, I lift my voice to You for understanding. Fill my spirit LORD and show me Your truths. Thank you for granting us the spiritual eyes and ears to receive Your understanding. Please grant me the courage and strength to act on Your understanding. Thank You for Your faithfulness. Amen.
