Today’s Scripture: James 1:6 NLT Tyndale: But when you ask him, be sure you really expect him to answer, for a doubtful mind is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.
I know God is answering. I love God and only fear Him. James 1 is so comforting and reassuring. Just ask and expect God to answer.
Knowing God is answering and giving us the wisdom we ask for is a confidence builder. Regardless of the answer we know His answer and our joy is complete. God IS going to complete His perfect works in us.
I know it and expect Him to reveal Himself and His steps to me. God’s generosity is humbling and encouraging. I am encouraged to face all trials with great expectation of God’s glory shining through. I know as promised in James 1:21 that God’s word is being planted in me. My soul is being saved by this implanted word of God and I welcome Him.
LORD, I also expect Your power to make me a doer who acts on Your Word.
Do you expect God to answer your questions?
Today’s Prayer: LORD I praise You and I love You! I am thankful for the word You are planting in my soul. Thank You for removing all doubt. I only fear You and humbly expect and know Your word is being implanted in me. Help me to act on Your word Father God. Make me a doer who is confident and bold in Your promises. Amen
