Today’s Scripture: Acts 1:24 ESV: And they prayed and said, “You, Lord, who know the hearts of all, show which one of these two you have chosen.
Do we ask for what the LORD has chosen or for what we want? Do we act on what the LORD shows us?
I only want to complete what the Lord has chosen and it may not be about me at all. This verse says that the Lord knows the hearts of all. He knows what is best for all hearts.
Lord, I pray for You to show me what You have chosen so I may do what is the best for the hearts of all. The disciples cast lots and trusted the Lord controlled these lots. Can we cast our lots and trust the Lord will control the outcome?
Do you pray and ask the Lord what He has chosen? Will you cast what you have and trust Him for the outcome?
Today’s Prayer: LORD, You know my heart and the hearts of all. I pray that You show me today what You have chosen for me to do. Grant me the wisdom, discernment and courage to act and trust You for the outcome. I only seek that which You have chosen and I desire to live in Your desires. Amen
