Today’s Scripture: 1 Corinthians 12:7 GWT: The evidence of the Spirit’s presence is given to each person for the common good of everyone.
The Spirit of God has been given to each of us. Some reject it, some are blinded from it, some have it robbed from them and some of us keep it to ourselves. Why has God given you His Spirit?
Here in 1 Corinthians 12:7 we are told that we have been given the Spirit’s presence to be given for the common good of everyone. The Holy Spirit will manifest Himself differently in each of us. Each of us has the Spirit to give.
Since you already have the Spirit what will you do with Him? How has the Spirit’s presence manifested in you? What do you have that the world needs, that nobody else has? Are you willing to give it up for the common good?
However the Spirit is manifested in you, it is intended for the good of all. How will your Spirit benefit the common good today?
Today’s Prayer: Heavenly Father, Jesus is Lord and I pray that I give to all the Holy Spirit You have given to me. LORD, help me to accept the Spirit, help me to see Your Spirit clearly and help me to give Him up for the common good of everyone. Thank You for Your Spirit of love; please help me to give it to everyone. Amen
