Today’s Scripture: Jeremiah 29:11 GWT: I know the plans that I have for you, declares the LORD. They are plans for peace and not disaster, plans to give you a future filled with hope.
Where do you place your hope for the future? This letter in Jeremiah 29 was sent to those who had been carried away to Babylon. We can get carried away too can’t we? Taken from where we should be to a place filled with misguided hopes.
Do you find hope knowing the LORD has plans for you? These verses encourage us to pray to the LORD for peace where we are and we will have it. Are you at peace where you are? Are you praying to the LORD for peace?
The following verse says that if we pray to the LORD He will hear us. If we seek Him with all of our hearts we will find Him. Finding Him gives us a future filled with hope.
Will you pray to the LORD full of hope in the future He has planned for you?
Today’s Prayer: Thank You LORD for having thoughts for me and for having plans for me. Forgive me LORD for when I place my hopes in anything not of You. I am praying to You LORD for peace where I am so I will live in Your peace. I have found deep peace and hope in the future You have planned for me. Thank you. Amen
