Today’s Scripture: 1 John 1:4 NLT Tyndale: We are writing these things so that our joy will be complete.
Many times over the past seven years since this Affirmations of God journey began I have wondered what I am supposed to do with this joy. If I could only share the joy I find day after day.
My hope and my prayer is that others will receive this joy. I have found God’s voice in His Word and in His Spirit. I do not want the affirmations Christ has revealed to me to be the important part. I write these things so OUR joy will be complete.
The joy is found in uncovering the treasures of God’s Word and the life of Christ that speaks specifically to each of us. I do not want to only provide affirmations but provide a way that others too will experience this joy in Christ. Then I will be complete.
Where do you find joy and how can you share it with others?
Today’s Prayer: God, thank You for Your joy. I pray I can share the joy You have given me with those You intend. I pray Your Word and Your Spirit will be revealed so others will know and love You. My heart burns with desire to have others know this joy. Spread Your joy to those You desire me to touch. I love You and them. Amen
