Today’s Scripture: Then my enemies will turn back in the day when I call. This I know, that God is for me. Psalm 56:9 ESV
Isn’t it great to know God is for you? You do know, don’t you? How can David, how can we be so confident? We know by living constantly in the light and will of God.
Looking back over these past few chapters of Psalms we see that if we give up our spirit to take refuge in God’s Spirit and His steadfast love we know. If we seek Him and speak with Him constantly; if we put His will before ours, we experience His provision and His deliverance.
In Psalm 55:17 David says he prays morning, noon and night. All day he is in communication with God in all the battles he faces. If we do the same, we come to know the peace in our soul that it is God who delivers us and is for us. He is for us because we are for Him.
Do you know God is for you?
Today’s Prayer: LORD, I offer my thanksgivings to You. Thank You for living in me and listening to me. Help me to be mindful to live in You all day. You are in all battles I face, and I know if I am seeking You and Your will You are for me. I trust in You God and praise You and Your word. Amen
