Today’s Scripture: Galatians 5:1, NLT- “So Christ has truly set us free. Now make sure that you stay free, and do not get tied up again in slavery to the law.”
Paul instructs to stay free in the grace and love of Jesus Christ. We live this freedom by serving each other humbly in love as he instructs us in Galatians 5:13.
In Galatians 5:14 Paul states that the entire law is contained in the one command to love our neighbors as ourselves. We can only live in this love and freedom with the Spirit of God.
Our flesh nature will always battle the Spirit. We must turn and welcome the love and guidance of the Spirit of God with love. I love You Holy Spirit and thank You for bringing me into the freedom of God I have received through Christ Jesus.
I am choosing to live in and out of the fruits of the Spirit today. I am going to enjoy the fruits of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control listed in Galatians 5:22-23.

Today’s Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for loving us and for setting us free in the love and grace of Christ Jesus. Jesus, thank You for setting me free. Thank You Jesus for leaving the Holy Spirit Who allows us to live in Your freedom. Protect me Holy Spirit from my own fleshly desires, wishes, and understanding. I am praying to live in and out the love that has set me free. Thank You LORD. Amen.
