Today’s Scripture: Acts 3:6, NKJV- “Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.”
We can all give what we have. Right now, this moment, we all have something to help change the lives of others. Our help can come in many forms and from many experiences.
The deepest and most lasting changes come from the gifts, help, and light God has given to us. Peter and John did not have to go looking for someone to help. This lame man was carried to this gate every day to ask for money from those going into the temple.
Every day, people passed by. Every day, people gave him what he thought he wanted. Yet, this day, Peter and John were there to give what they had. They had the healing powers of Jesus. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, they told this man, lame from birth, to rise and walk.
In Jesus’ name, I have been made strong, and this I am giving to you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I ask you to rise and be a blessing to others in the name of the LORD.
Today’s Prayer: Father God, thank You for the life and power of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Thank You LORD for helping and strengthening us. Help us LORD to give this help and strength for the blessings of others. Help each of us, Your servants, to give what we have so others too may know You and Your powers LORD. In the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth I do pray. Amen.
