Today’s Scripture: And immediately they left their nets and followed him. Mark 1:18 ESV
Daily we seek God’s bread. Daily, immediately God desires for us to do His will. In the prayer Jesus gave to us we ask for God’s kingdom to come and His will to be done. Do we pray for this to happen immediately?
God communicates clearly; more clearly than we want to admit. We know there are times where we need less talk and more action. When the Spirit guides us to act we must do so immediately.
Can you see wasted opportunities? Times when your gut, your spirit, told you to do something and you put it off only to see in hindsight you just knew it? Not to worry, God has given us today. Today we can act immediately. Act immediately and contrarily to what this world and our flesh tell us.
Listen, Jesus is calling you too. Act immediately. What do you know you must do today?
Today’s Prayer: Our Father who art in Heaven, thank You for Your kingdom and Your will today. I am acting immediately on Your daily bread. Thank You for forgiving me for the thousands of missed opportunities. I am thankful for your daily love and forgiveness. Thank You for Your clarity. Thank You for Your power to act and fulfill Your will. Amen
