Today’s Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 1:4 NLT: We know, dear brothers and sisters, that God loves you and has chosen you to be his own people.
Overwhelming love, that is who God is. How do I know? How can I not? I can only share some of the affirmations God has put on my heart just this morning from 1 Thessalonians. The promises of God’s Word make my heart sing:
- God chose me to be His.
- I receive the Good News with joy.
- Jesus is the one who rescued me.
- God gives me courage.
- My purpose is to please God.
- I have been entrusted with the Good News.
- I love others so much that I give them God’s Good News and my life.
- God is my witness.
- God called me into His Kingdom to share His glory.
- I will always thank God.
- I speak the words of God.
- God’s word continues to work in me.
- Having others stand with me when our Lord Jesus returns is my pride and joy.
- I have been sent to strengthen and encourage the faith of others.
- My faith and love are as strong as ever.
- I have been greatly comforted.
- I remain strong in my faith.
- Knowing others remain strong in the Lord gives me life.
- I have great joy in the presence of God.
- I thank God.
- Day and night I pray for others.
- God Himself makes things possible for me.
- The Lord makes my love grow and overflow to others.
- Christ makes my heart strong.
- I live in a way that pleases God.
- God has called me to be holy.
- God Himself has taught me to love others.
- I live a quiet life.
- I have hope.
- I will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord and remain with Him forever.
- I am comforted and encouraged by God’s words.
- I stay alert and sober.
- I am protected by the armor of faith and love.
- Jesus died so I can live with Him forever.
God’s words, not mine are all I have to offer you today. My heart is full and I pray you find His promises for you. Search His word and be filled beyond measure. Do I know God loves me, yes! Do you?
Today’s Prayer: Thank You Father for loving me. Thank You LORD for your amazing and transforming Word. God You fill me with such joy and love that all I want to do is share You. I love You and thank You. You humble me Father with Your Good News. Love. Amen
