Today’s Scripture: 1 Corinthians 12:18 NLT: But our bodies have many parts, and God has put each part just where he wants it.
Certainly God, You didn’t put me here. My life is totally unmanageable; is it possible You put me here?
In 12-step recovery programs the very first step is to admit that we are powerless over our addictions and compulsive behaviors and that our lives have become unmanageable. LORD, I AM POWERLESS AND MY LIVE HAS BECOME UNMANAGEABLE.
Is it possible that this is where God wants me? YES. In my powerlessness and brokenness I find His power. Eight years ago I admitted my powerlessness over alcohol. Today I confess my powerlessness over all areas of my life.
God wants me to be right here where I am. These last eight years have been the most spiritually prosperous years of my life so I am excited to see how I can help others by giving up all I have for God, right where He wants me.
Why does God have you where you are?
Today’s Prayer: Father God, I trust I am where You want me. I confess my powerlessness. My life is completely unmanageable and I need You LORD. Please use me right here where I am to help others. I pray I bring You glory in all things and I pray for Your prosperity to provide. In Your power do I trust. Amen
