Today’s Scripture: Psalm 36:9 ESV; For with you is the fountain of life; in your light do we see light.
God is truly a fountain of life. This fountain of life and joy seems to burst out towards the heavens. The second half of this verse is also real; when in God’s light we see light.
I love David’s heart and here in Psalm 36 I can feel it. It is like YES that is what I have experienced too! I know God’s love and faithfulness has been extended to me.
I have come to realize the truth in 36:8. I feast on the abundance of God and I drink from the rivers of His delights. Praising God for who He is and accepting His love and grace have given me a glimpse and a taste of His abundance and His delights.
Is God a fountain of life for you? Have you seen His light and feasted on His abundance and delights?
Welcome His love and trust in His faithfulness and You will experience His fountain!
Today’s Prayer: Almighty Father, thank You for Your love and faithfulness towards me. I find life and joy in Your abundance and in Your rivers of delight. Your abundance of love and joy produce a fountain of love and life in me and I praise You. LORD help me to share this joy so others may feast in You. Amen
