Today’s Scripture: John 4:23, NLT- “But the time is coming—indeed it’s here now—when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way.”
In John 4, Jesus is speaking with the woman at the well of Jacob. As You suggested to her Jesus, I am asking You now for Your living water. Spring up from me Lord Jesus. Indeed, the time is now to worship the Father in spirit and in truth.
The Spirit of God bubbles up from within us. As true worshipers of God the Father, His Spirit and His truths do spring from us as living waters. John 4:24 tells us that God is Spirit and those of us who worship Him must do so in Spirit and in truth.
I am asking You Jesus to teach me and explain to me how to worship the Father in Spirit and Truth. Tell me all things Lord Jesus to assure that I worship God the Father in the correct spirit and truths. I believe the Spirit that speaks within me is You Jesus. Your Holy Spirit helps me.
How will you worship the Father today?
Today’s Prayer: Father God, I am worshipping You now in Your Spirit and Truth. Teach me Lord Jesus, to worship properly and completely. I am asking You Jesus for Your living water so that You will flow from me. I only thirst to live in and from You LORD. The day has indeed come for me to worship You as You desire. Thank You LORD for Your living water, Your Holy Spirit, and Your truths that live in me. Amen.
