Today’s Scripture: John 8:24, NKJV- “Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.””
The Pharisees were challenging Jesus. They could not grasp that Jesus was telling them that He had come from the Father above. He is telling them in John 8:24 that if they do not believe He is who He says He is they will die in their sins.
We can choose to believe that Jesus is who He said He is whether we can grasp it or not. I choose to believe that Jesus did come from the Father above and He came down to us here below to draw us to the Father and to die for our sins.
I am choosing to walk in the light of this world as Jesus called Himself in John 8:12. We can leave our life of sin to live in His light. We can choose the light of life. I am grateful that the Holy Spirit within us allows us to know the Father and His Son Jesus Christ.

Today’s Prayer: Father God, I am confessing with my tongue that I believe You sent Jesus to us from above so we may know You. LORD, help me to turn away from sin to walk in Your light. The light of Jesus is my guiding light. I am looking to You Father God to walk in Your light forever because of what Jesus has done for me. Amen.
