Today’s Scripture: Ruth 1:8- KJV- “And Naomi said unto her two daughters in law, Go, return each to her mother’s house: the LORD deal kindly with you, as ye have dealt with the dead, and with me.”
Thank You LORD for Your kindness. Naomi and her daughters were heading back to Moab because the LORD had blessed that land with food. God continues to provide our food today.
Do we recognize it is God when we receive food and aid? LORD thank You for being so kind and for blessing us with aid and food.
We find rest and security in trusting in the LORD’s kindness and provision. Naomi was praying in Ruth 1:9 that her daughters would find rest and security in another marriage. I am praying we find our rest and security in the LORD.
There are times we can think the LORD is against us but if we count our blessings of having access to aid and food, we find rest in knowing God will do this again because of His kindness to us.
Will you thank God for His kindness today?
Today’s Prayer: Thank You LORD for Your kindness and aid. I am aware of Your provision, and I am grateful LORD. Thank You for Your kindness and aid to Your people. I am thankful for my food, my daily bread. I am praying to continue to break my bread in thanksgiving to You LORD. In times of lack or in plenty I am praying that I thank You and recognize You are my place of rest and security. In You LORD I do trust. Amen.
