Today’s Scripture: Ephesians 6:10, NIV- “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.”
Ephesians 6 instructs us that there is power in serving others. When we work to do good and not just look good, we do the will of God. When we serve mankind as if serving the Lord, we show His strength.
The rewards of the Lord are great. The more we give from our heart the more we receive from the Lord. The Lord rewards us with His strength and mighty power to serve.
We can live and work with confidence in the Lord. When we honor our father and mother things go well for us. We are given training and instruction from the Lord that we can pass along to our children. When we are obedient to our earthly masters, as if we are being obedient to Jesus Christ, we show strength and power.
Will you live confidently in the strength and the mighty power of the Lord today?
Today’s Prayer: Thank You Lord for training and instructing us in the way to go and do. Help us Lord to serve others as if we are serving You. Thank You Lord for rewarding us for whatever good we do. I am praying to do Your will today and to be Your servant with all my heart. In turn, I pray to serve mankind for You. Thank You Lord for putting Your will into our hearts so we can serve others from Your strength and mighty power You have given us. Amen
