Thank You God for speaking to me in many ways.

Today’s Scripture: Hebrews 1:2, NLT- “Long ago God spoke many times and in many ways to our ancestors through the prophets.”

I am thankful that God still speaks. Here in Hebrews 1, we are reminded that God has spoken to His people in many ways and now Jesus, the Son of God, the exact imprint of the nature of God was being used. Jesus left us the Helper to remind us of every word Jesus spoke.

We “hear” God in many ways. Here is Hebrews 1:2 we are told God speaks in various ways and at various times. I hear God speak mostly through His Word in the amazing “coincidences” and timing of the cries of my heart. I have certainly heard God speak through others. Circumstances in life also tend to make me cry out, hear, and witness God speak.

We too are a light of God. God can use us to radiate His Glory. He is the light, and we can reflect His light, express His character, and be an example of His nature.

How and when has God spoken to you?

Today’s Prayer: Thank You God for speaking to us. I am thankful for your prophets of old. I am thankful for Your Son, Jesus Christ, who came to speak to us, save us, and purify us of our sins. Thank You LORD for continuing to speak in many times and in many ways. Thank You for You Holy Spirit who will pray for us and remind us of every word Jesus has spoken. Help us to reflect Your light, glory, and Your nature. Shine Your light through us and continue to anoint us with Your oil of joy. Amen.
