Today’s Scripture: Genesis 45:20, NLT- “Don’t worry about your personal belongings, for the best of all the land of Egypt is yours.’””
God really does give us our best life now. People may ridicule prosperity preachers with this line but this morning I came across the supporting scriptures. The “best” is not based on stuff. When we feast on what the flesh and world around us has to offer, we will eventually come to realize the physical world is no match for the spiritual world.
God revives our spirits as He did Jacob in Genesis 45:27. The spiritual world leaves the feasting and famines of life behind and almost insignificant. With God and His Spirit, we really do get to live our best life now.
We have been given the best of all the land. No pharaoh, president, boss, partner, or scenario can give us anything better. We are at our best when our spirits are connected to the Creator, the God of Heaven, our LORD and Savior.
Will you accept God’s best life for you today?
Today’s Prayer: Father God, Thank You for giving us Your best. You have placed Your Holy Spirit within us so we may be connected to you instantly. Regardless of the stuff, stakes, and suffering of this life we are immediately revived in Your Spirit. Help us to live in the hopes and promises of Your Spirit. Prosper us LORD so we may share Your Spirit with the hurting, the hopeless, and the lost. We trust You LORD with our lives and our spirits. Amen
