Today’s Scripture: Galatians 1:1, NLT- “This letter is from Paul, an apostle. I was not appointed by any group of people or any human authority, but by Jesus Christ himself and by God the Father, who raised Jesus from the dead.”
Does it change your perspective if you were to think that you were sent to where you are today by Jesus Christ and God the Father? Would the opinions of others matter to you as much? I think if we felt or even knew we were sent by Jesus to this moment and place it would change our outcomes.
Why did God send you to both of our eyes reading these words at the same time? Why are you crossing paths with people you meet today? Why did God send you into your workplace and your place of worship? Is there something only you can bring to the table?
Even if it is only a perspective and not a fact it is good to live for Jesus Christ Himself and not look around for another human to do the work. I am here now and it is up to me to do God’s work.
What would you do differently today if you knew Jesus sent you?
Today’s Prayer: Father God, who raised Jesus from the dead, thank You for sending me here. If you do have a mission for me please grant me clarity and confidence to know You and Jesus Christ himself have sent me to do a specific task. Regardless, I am praying to You today LORD to live as if You have sent me. Let me look at those in my path today as those You sent me to. Give me Your eyes of love and compassion to also see why You sent them to me. My value and my purpose are in You. Amen
