Today’s Scripture: Isaiah 37:35, KJV- “For I will defend this city to save it for mine own sake, and for my servant David’s sake.”
I am guilty of snarky comments on political posts. These words make no difference in the world and only bring me into the fray. Isaiah 37 is a wake-up call to remember the LORD, the maker of heaven and earth, sees those who rage against Him.
Instead of wasting my breath in sarcasm, I should call out to the LORD to save us from those committed to the destruction of all kingdoms of this earth. You LORD alone are God and You LORD alone can remove these people from this land.
I am trusting God over my understanding. If I am wrong, remove me. If others are wrong, remove them. I am asking You LORD to send Your angel to come to defend Your plans. I am asking You now LORD to put my house in order. Help me to walk with You faithfully, with whole-hearted devotion, to do what is pleasing in Your sight.
Will you pray for God to defend this land?
Today’s Prayer: I am praying to You LORD to save the kingdoms of this earth from those seeking to destroy Your plan. Forgive me LORD, my God, for when I attempt to take things into my own hands. I am but human. You LORD are the creator of heaven and earth and know the plans You have for Your people. I am seeking to live faithfully in Your plan. You LORD, are my God. Please remove those who rage against You LORD and send Your angels to come and defend Your plans. Amen
