Thank You Jesus for coming to earth so the Spirit of the LORD could rest upon me.

Today’s Scripture: Isaiah 11:2, NIV- “The Spirit of the LORD will rest on him— the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of might, the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the LORD.”

When we attempt to experience the life of Jesus we experience the Spirit of the LORD. We too can delight in the fear of the LORD. We can be filled with the knowledge of the LORD because Jesus showed us The Way.

We can experience the comfort of the LORD. Surely God, You are my salvation; I will trust You and not be afraid. You LORD are my strength and my defense. With joy I drink deeply from the fountain of salvation as in Isaiah 12:3, NLT.

Today, I will thank You Jesus and praise Your name before all nations. I will continue to tell the world what You have done and just how mighty You are. Jesus, You do such wonderful things for us. Thank You for leaving us with Your helper, the Spirit of the LORD.

The Great and Holy One is with us right now. Can you sense and welcome the Spirit of the LORD?

Today’s Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for sending us Your Son Jesus Christ. What a glorious place of rest He is. Thank You for turning Your anger from me and giving me Your comfort.  I welcome the life of Jesus as well as His death. Help me to experience Jesus and Your Holy Spirit. Have Your Spirit rest upon me so I may desire what You desire and do what You require. In Jesus’ name I do pray. Amen
