Today’s Scripture: Psalm 103:20, NASB- “Bless the LORD, you His angels, Mighty in strength, who perform His word, Obeying the voice of His word!”
God’s voice is heard in His Word. There have been times in my life I even scoffed at people who said they “heard” God. Oh really? What did God say? However, I have learned to hear God, just as David was referring to in this Psalm.
Even with the Word David had in his times, he found he could hear God there. I do too. Combining prayer and bible reading opens up a different form of communication. God does speak and, for me, I find I hear Him in His Word. If not ringing in my ears it is ringing in my soul.
As we pour out our praise to the LORD with all of our soul, all of our inmost being, He pours His voice into us through His Word. God teaches us His will in His Word. We can see His will and His works through the power of His Word.
Do you hear God’s voice in His Word?
Today’s Prayer: Father God we praise Your name with our whole being. We thank You and hear You in Your Word. Thank You LORD for speaking with us and for communicating with us. We are praising You and blessing You with all of our souls. We are praising Your holy name and singing the praises of Your Word to us. Your Word reminds us of all the good things You have done for us. Your Word fills us with hope of what is to come. Thank You for filling us with Your goodness through Your Word. Amen
