Today’s Scripture: Ecclesiastes 8:15, NKJV- “So I commended enjoyment, because a man has nothing better under the sun than to eat, drink, and be merry; for this will remain with him in his labor all the days of his life which God gives him under the sun.”
Life is too short to live in misery. We choose first to fear God and seek His wisdom and then we can live in joy and peace with Him. We can ask God to be wise so we know the right time and procedures. Then we can joyfully do our best to go that way.
There is always work and worrying to do. Many people lose sleep over such things. Though we try, it always boils down to letting go and trusting God. Over thinking doesn’t overcome. Everything is really in God’s hands. The more we enjoy life and trust God the more joy we find.
We will never see the love or the hate that awaits us. We should just enjoy this moment. We will all die but we have hope as long as we are living. We can choose to live with a cheerful heart knowing that God has already approved and accepted our works.

Today’s Prayer: Heavenly Father, I am praising Your name. You alone are holy. I am asking for a wise heart to know the right time and way to go. I only fear You LORD and I am praying to be reverent before You. I am thankful to live in joy before You. Thank You for approving and accepting my works. Thank You for Your Word that reminds us to eat, drink, and be merry today. I am living in hope and joy today that I am free because my life is in Your hands and not mine. I am celebrating You and living today. Amen
