Today’s Scripture: Ecclesiastes 5:20, ESV- “For he will not much remember the days of his life because God keeps him occupied with joy in his heart.”
What brings joy to your heart? What do you do that makes time fly? What do you do that makes you forget about everything else going on in the world? Do you stay occupied with these things?
We see miserable people that have every wealth known to man yet there is no joy. People occupied with their minds or fleshes are many times bitter and envious of what others have. Strangely they attempt to bring others into their miserable world.
We can choose to stay occupied with darkness or we can look to God and be occupied with the joys of our hearts. Of our souls can be satisfied with goodness as mentioned in Ecclesiastes 6:3, NKJV.
We can live a life living for God so we get to stay occupied with the joys of our hearts and live a full life and life full of goodness.
What will you stay occupied with today?
Today’s Prayer: Our Father who art in Heaven, thank You for Your love and joy. Thank You Father God for keeping me occupied with the joys of my heart. Help me to spend my days seeking Your goodness. Help me LORD to live in and from those things You have placed in my heart that bring You joy. Thank You for filling my heart with Your joys and Your goodness and God I do pray to live and stay occupied today and every day with these things. Thank you and amen.
