Today’s Scripture: Psalm 101:6, NIV-“My eyes will be on the faithful in the land, that they may dwell with me; the one whose walk is blameless will minister to me.”
Why do we allow deceivers and liars into our presence? Psalm 101:8 states that every morning we should destroy the wicked from our land and cutoff the evildoers. We must be careful who we let into our land and into our hearts and minds. Deceit and lies come at us non-stop in this day of intrusive technologies.
Psalm 101 advises us not to have anything to do with what faithless people do. Every morning we can choose who we will let into our land and who we will walk with. I am choosing to look for the faithful in our land; those who walk with integrity and faith. I am seeking those who are committed to walking with God.
We are instructed to sing praises to our LORD for His love and justice. The LORD and His people are who I am seeking to walk with, how about you?
Today’s Prayer: Almighty Father in heaven, I am singing praises to You for Your love and justice. Father God we need Your justice in our land. Help us to destroy the wickedness and evil from our land. Fill our land with those who walk in integrity. Help me to conduct all of my affairs with a blameless heart. Please bring those people into my life who will encourage faithful living and who will minister to me to be all that You, Father God, desire for me to be. Use me LORD to minister to those who walk with me. Please heal our land and destroy the faithless that are spewing deceit and lies. Amen
