Today’s Scripture: Psalm 97:6, ESV- “The heavens proclaim his righteousness, and all the peoples see his glory.”
Do you see God’s glory? Do you see Him in the morning light? The heavens and all the earth proclaim Him and His righteousness.
I see God in the pre-dawn darkness and in the early morning light. I see the LORD in animal tracks through the wet morning grass and I lift my heart and prayers like the birds singing out during the early light of day. I see God’s glory. Do you see Him?
Do we look for God’s glory in all things? The heavens and His creation do proclaim God to us. This world and the king of it try to blind us and give credit to happenstance, science and logic. When we look to those things we see darkness and hopelessness. When we look to God and His glory we see His light and we can rejoice and give thanks to His holy name.
What are you seeing right now?
Today’s Prayer: LORD, I love You and thank You for showing us Your glory. LORD, help me to see Your glory in all things. Draw my eyes and my heart to You LORD God. I do see You LORD and I am rejoicing in Your holy name! I am lifting Your name above all others. Amen
