Today’s Scripture: Romans 14:8, NIV- “If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.”
I am Yours Lord. Yes, that is a period. Thank You Lord for accepting me just as I am. Thank You Lord for accepting others just as they are. Romans 14 calls us to live in the acceptance of God and to trust Him with life and death.
Jesus Christ died and rose again for all of us. It is not up to us to judge others or their walk. None of us are superior to another. Our views and our perspectives do not change who Jesus is and what He has done for us. The Lord God is my only judge.
I am bowing my knees and confessing to You Lord. Lord prevent me from causing others to stumble or fall. I desire to live a life of goodness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Only in Jesus can I live righteously and I only find peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
Do you belong to the Lord?
Today’s Prayer: Father God, I belong to You. Thank You Lord for accepting us all as we are. Use each of us to share the love of Jesus with the peace and joy of the Holy Spirit. I am thankful LORD, that I can give You all of my fears. In only fearing You LORD, I am free to be me and to trust You with all others. I trust you to judge and to assure that Your will be done. I pray that I and all others find the joy and peace You give through Your Holy Spirit. I pray we all live and die in the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Amen
