Today’s Scripture: Romans 8:28, NKJV- “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”
We know God promises to work all things together for good for those who love Him. What we know does not eliminate pain or hardships. Even earlier in Romans 8:18 we are told that our current sufferings can’t even compare to the glory that will be revealed.
We struggle to see the glory in the middle of our struggles. Yet, we can trust and hope in this Spirit of God. This is a hope that is beyond our hope and a Spirit that is beyond our spirit. A Holy Spirit that prays for us when we have nothing to say. A Spirit that works to reveal God’s glory to this world.
It is beyond our understanding how God can take our sufferings and our weaknesses and work to reveal His goodness to others. It is beyond our understanding that the power that raised Jesus from the dead is dwelling in us in the middle of our hardships today, but He is.
God we are in need of Your Spirit today.
Today’s Prayer: Abba, Father thank You for Your glory that will be revealed in our weaknesses and our sufferings. LORD be with all who suffer today. Grant us Your Spirit of hope when we feel hopeless. Use our weaknesses Father God for good for others. We have to trust in Your Holy Spirit and in Your hope Father God. Holy Spirit thank You for being at work in and through us today for good. Call each of us according to Your purpose for us. Amen.
