Thank You Jesus for setting me free

Today’s Scripture: Romans 8:2 ESV- For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.

Thankfully, we have received the Spirit of life in Jesus.  The law of the Spirit of life brings new life. Paul reminds us that we cannot weaken this Spirit. Jesus set us free to live.

The Spirit gives us life and peace. Look around at this world today and you can see the death that the minds of mankind can produce.  I find much comfort knowing that the Spirit helps me in my weakness. In simple terms I find freedom and also my best prayers when I trust that the Spirit Himself intercedes for me with groaning’s too deep for words as stated here in Romans 8:26. I find freedom, life and peace in knowing I don’t even need to know the words to pray.

Thank You Jesus for the Holy Spirit that has set me free. Guide my heart and my life to fulfill God’s will today.

Do you allow the Spirit of Jesus to set you free?

Today’s Prayer: Father God, thank You for Your Spirit. Thank You Jesus for setting me free. I give you my heart and mind LORD. I trust in the life You intend for me and trust in Your Spirit to guide me. Thank You for hearing the groans of the Spirit on my account and use me to the fullest. Help me to live towards You today. In the name of Jesus Christ I do pray. Amen
