I am encouraged that it is the LORD JEHOVAH God who helps me and fights my battles against the power of the flesh.

Today’s Scripture: 2 Chronicles 32:8, ABPE- “With him is the power of the flesh and with us is LORD JEHOVAH God who shall help us, and he shall fight in our battle!” And the heart of the people was encouraged because of the statement of Hezekiah, King of the house of Yehuda.”

I love the Word of God. Today is a perfect example of how the Word of God blows me away. My morning time routine of hitting my knees and then going to the Word never disappoints.

I have been on this affirmation journey for many years now and I am still shocked and amazed at the power of God and His Word. Although I have captured over 24,000 affirmations I continue to come to verses that I have never captured before. I also enjoy reading the different translations I find of the same verse as they touch my spirit and understanding in different places to deepen my awe of God.

2 Chronicles 32:8 provided me with strength, courage, confidence, encouragement, and rest as I captured more promises to claim. Whatever battles you face today just look at some of the ways this one verse can change your perspective and your life!

Today’s Prayer: LORD JEHOVAH, my God, I love You and thank You for Your Holy Scriptures. I am encouraged, strengthened, confident, and at peace knowing that the arms of flesh and the strength of humans are no match for Your power and provision. Thank You LORD God for helping me and for fighting my battles for me.  All of my hope and courage is in and from You. Amen
