Today’s Scripture: 2 Chronicles 31:21, BSB- “He was diligent in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, and in the law and the commandments, in order to seek his God. And so he prospered.”
Do you want prosperity? I mean real riches not money. The riches of God are all encompassing and are not fleeting. Hezekiah set a good example for us in 2 Chronicles chapters 30 and 31. He gathered the people to celebrate the Passover of the LORD. He called on all people to return to the LORD, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel.
He called on the people to be faithful. He called us to serve the LORD our God. He reminds us that the LORD our God is gracious and compassionate. He taught us to be humble in facing those who ridicule our faith. He encouraged us to set our hearts on seeking God.
He called us to praise the LORD every day. Hezekiah also teaches us the way to God’s prosperity by doing every work in service to God and His laws and commandments.
And so we prosper.
Today’s Prayer: LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, help me to return to You when I turn away. Thank You for Your grace and compassion. Help me to be faithful and to serve You in all of my activities. I am setting my heart on seeking You God. I am praising You today and every day. I am dedicating my life to being diligent in my work of serving You and Your commands. I pray to prosper You and thank You for prospering me. Amen
