Share the post "I am finding strength and courage knowing You are with me Lord until my work is finished."
Today’s Scripture: 1 Chronicles 28:20, NIV- “David also said to Solomon his son, “Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you until all the work for the service of the temple of the LORD is finished.”
I am always encouraged by the scriptures that remind me to be strong and courageous. I love them because I know most times I do not feel nor act that way. Instead of acting and doing with strength and courage I many times act slowly and timidly. Sometimes I worry what others may think or get overwhelmed with wondering what to do.
When we remember that God gave us our plan we find confidence and resolve. David was confident because he knew that God’s hand had written out his plans and had given him the understanding. This was God’s strength.
Thank You God for what You are writing. Write Your plan through us and grant us the understanding to do it. We are doing this work with strength, courage, and confidence because we know this is Your plan. Thank you for assuring that we will finish the work You have planned and given to us.
What has God written out for you?
Today’s Prayer: Father God, thank You for Your Word and Your servants such as David. Father God, I am asking and trusting the writing of Your hand upon my life. Remind me constantly that this is Your plan so I can go, act, and do strongly and courageously. Help me to be bold in going by Your plan. Thank You God for giving me the understanding to complete Your work. Thank You LORD God for promising to be there with me until this work is finished. Amen.
